JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY:
Experienced Hospitality professional to assist and maintain boutique tasting rooms on our vineyard site and winery tasting room site, while also participating in harvest, cellar and vineyard duties, that keep our boutique winery thriving. Must maintain the established company values and procedures while also demonstrating a passion for hospitality, strong work ethic, ability to work well with diverse set of people, polished communication skills, welcoming personality, commitment to quality of workplace, time management & organizational skills, effective leadership behaviors and a proactive work mentality with a commitment to continued improvement.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provide inspiring wine tastings while sharing their passion and knowledge on our wines, brands, farming practices, wine clubs, region, geology, etc.
*Review daily reservations and manage flow of service utilizing our reservation system (Tock).
*Manage guest purchase transactions utilizing our point-of-sale system effectively (OrderPort).
*Assist guests with new wine club sign-ups and existing membership management.
*Open and close tasting room while following guidelines and procedures.
*Maintain cleanliness in the tasting room & kitchen throughout the day (glass washing/polishing, cleaning/restocking bathrooms, etc.).
*Coordinate and maintain tasting room wine inventory.
*Assist in special events such as wine club pick-up parties and occasional offsite events.
*Maintain a professional appearance and social demeanor.
*Assist in cellar, vineyard and harvest operations as needed.

This position requires a current OLCC pouring license, Food Handlers card and ability to lift 50+ .lbs on a regular basis.
This job will include working in the tasting room, as well as helping out in the cellar and harvest when needed.
