The Procurement Intern will ensure that DSM products are of consistent and high quality by supporting Procurement activities to ensure consistent manufacturing and financial performance. This position will cross collaborate with the Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support procurement of raw materials for production and Manufacturing of Finished Good devices.
The 2025 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will begin June 9th, 2025 and run through August 14, 2025
Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday (37.5 / 40 hours per week)

Your key responsibilities
Assist regional Procurement teams in developing and implementing global sourcing strategy as to optimize total cost savings.
Ensure contract implementation in a way that optimizes contracts in view of DSM/DNP compliance policies and continuously improve supplier performance.
Ensure the regional Procurement has close contact to DNP's defined Customer-Segments and prioritized Global/Regional customers.
Optimization of Procurement processes and contracts globally in order to source 3rd party material at optimal cost, quality and service level.

You Bring
Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Business or related field.
Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 9, 2025 – August 14, 2025
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and parse data
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. ?Compensation will be dependent on factors that include location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
