Six-Week Position (Training Week: 6/16-6/20; Program Weeks: 6/23-7/25, not in session 7/4) Half-day and Limited Full-Day Opportunities Available Accepting Applications until March 31, 2025, or Until Positions are Filled Hill Summer Program faculty enjoy online and hands-on training in Hill's methodology, mentor support and an encouraging administrative team. A collaborative team of educators come together for six weeks to learn and build the confidence and skills of students who need support. Faculty can take their learning back to their school year instruction to continue supporting striving learners.
Job Description Summer faculty are responsible for teaching three classes for five weeks in a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio following the individual skills, methods, and techniques designated, as well as attending four days of training prior to the start of classes. All teachers are expected to assess student levels during the beginning of the program and implement a structured curriculum throughout the program. Formal reporting via bi-weekly emails and end-of-summer progress reports are required to provide feedback on student progress. In addition, teachers are expected to attend faculty meetings as scheduled; attend the Parent/Guardian Open House event; participate in coaching/mentoring sessions with supervisors; and supervise student outside of class as scheduled.

Preference will be given to candidates with: 1) a Master's degree in learning disabilities, 2) certification in learning disabilities, and/or 3) certification in elementary education or reading. Experience/training with Hill programs is ideal.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, starting at $2,950 for a half-day position (8:00-12:15PM or 12:00-4:15PM, with the exception of the training week which are full days). Limited full-day positions are also available, starting at $6,500.
