What You'll Do: As a SDET Engineer you'll design, develop, and test software products built for our federal customer leveraging automated tools and frameworks!! Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Define test strategy, create test plans, author test cases, and perform test execution to supply quality product releases.Work collaboratively with our operations and engineering partnersServe as a test lead on our, cross-functional projects with significant bottom-line impactProactively communicate technical information and status to broad, cross-functional teamsFunctionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutionsUnderstand system inter-dependencies and limitations Drive the adoption of quality metrics that help measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product.Ensure test processes for new applications and features are designed into the product development process.Work with performance engineers to design and execute performance benchmarking. What You'll Need:Active Secret Clearance (or Higher) PreferredUS Citizenship requiredAutomated Testing framework experience (Selenium, Cucumber, Mocha/Chai, TestNG).Experience working in an Agile environment.Proven experience working within Java, AWS, and CI/CD driven environments,Hands-on experience with writing automation test code and utilizing leading industry standards tools and frameworks that can simulate complex multi-system scenarios.Proficiency with automated testing types (Unit, Functional, Load, Security, Behavioral, Integration, Component, Contract and End to End).Experience working with two or more of the following: web/mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, event-driven systems, transaction processing systems, distributed and parallel systems, large software systems development, security software development, public-cloud platforms.Strong testing experience includes developing test plans, automating test cases, and working with test frameworks.Deep analytical skills with the ability to describe methods of testing highly sophisticated systems, diagnose system defects and clearly communicate to project constituents key findings and learned lessons.Equal Employer/Veterans/Disabled Navitas Business Consulting is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
