Summary
The Washing and Coating operator is responsible for maintaining production, quality performance levels, and the efficient use of manufacturing equipment in accordance with his/her knowledge and training in conformance with established Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice.

Operates washer, washing lift, container washer, oven, oven lift, coater, and auxiliary machines to support the washing and coating process including in process checks in accordance with SOP's and WI's to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards. Adheres to all safety rules in accordance with SOP's, GMP as well as federal, state and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities Work under the guidance of Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner. Ensures that equipment are maintained in good and safe working condition and work area is clean, safe and organized. Set-up and operate washer, washing lift, container washer, oven, oven lift, coater, and auxiliary machines to support the washing and coating process including in process checks in accordance to specifications. Monitor equipment performance and recommends improvements. Duly follows organizational and work specific instructions, attends applicable trainings and meetings. Fulfils tasks efficiently and in due course.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to elements including environmental heat and high heat from moving mechanical parts, small parts may be encountered on the floor, and dust particles may float in the air.
Work is done in both office space and in the plant where safety is a critical concern.
PPE must be worn.

Your Profile The 2nd Shift schedule available is: Monday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pm *Paid on-site training on first shift for 4-6 weeks.
1st Shift Schedule is: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Preferred Education and Experience
Previous manufacturing experience in a regulated environment
Required Education and Experience High school diploma One month, in plant training - TQM, SPC, GMO, SOP's, in conjunction with; Six months on the job training Ability to speak, read and write English in order to understand operating and other related procedures and to complete all position related documentation.
