Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Help ensure employees safely conduct themselves and safety measures are being complied with.
Supervise and lead a team of employees during the second shift.
Facilitate daily team startup meetings as well as safety meetings.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to ensure they meet their performance goals.
Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the second shift.
Ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Address, and resolve any issues, or challenges that arise during the shift.
Monitor product or service quality to ensure it meets company and customer expectations.
Communicate with management on issues and production requirements through conversations, phone, or email.
Help support activities related to Quality and Manufacturing Engineering Help lead continuous improvement activities on 2nd Shift.

Strong leadership and management skills are essential to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey instructions, report issues, and collaborate with other departments.

Basic Computer skills using applications such as email and Microsoft Word and Excel.
Secondary education or training in manufacturing and continuous improvement desirable.
