Assist in the gathering, staging and assembly of Interior Finish materials, specifically, closet kits, window packs and mouldings which will be sold to customers while adhering to and understanding safety policies and regulations.
\n Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform all job operations in a safe manner in accordance with company safety policies.Read work tickets of items to be assembled using product knowledge and reading skills.Fabricate materials for the production of the finished goods. Inspect finished product for quality. Report all damaged material to the Trim Shop Lead or Warehouse Manager so that it may be recorded, in order to maintain accurate inventory records. Mark damaged material with labels supplied. Notify warehouse manager of the quality of the mouldings being received from vendors. Maintain proper use and care of machinery so that operations continue effectively using necessary equipment and supplies i.e.: oil, new blades, cleaning. Assist in the shop housekeeping so that production runs smoothly i.e.: sweeping, storing, cleaning, and using the necessary equipment. When needed, employee will operate a forklift in a safe manner.
