3D CAD Designer Saint Paul, MN | Contract | $30 - $40/hr 100% On-site Konik partnered with a construction equipment manufacturer in need of a 3D CAD Designer to work through the end of the year on contract. The person in the role will develop models for structural and hydraulic components and assemblies, providing engineering support for drafting and documentation tasks.
3D CAD Designer Responsibilities: Model, design, and create detailed drawings for electrical assemblies, including routing harnesses and component installation. Generate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to revise, release, and maintain engineering models, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), standards, and specifications. Manage part numbers, update BOMs, and perform SAP data entry. Identify and address assembly interferences, design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, proposing necessary revisions and improvements. Provide guidance to technicians, installers, and inspectors, facilitating smooth processes. 3D CAD Designer Requirements: Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Design/Drafting Degree or equivalent. Minimum five years of design and manufacturing experience in electro-mechanical systems. Familiarity with electrical component installation and assembly processes requirements and procedures.
