Our client is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Manager to assist in the daily operations of patient access functions at an acute care setting. This role serves as the key liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility, ensuring the smooth execution of registration processes, quality assurance, and patient experience expectations.
Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of all Patient Access functions.Serve as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility.Ensure adherence to Model AIDET guidelines during all patient interactions, fostering a positive patient experience.Monitor quality assurance (QA) on registrations for all areas.Perform patient registration functions when needed to minimize wait times.Address patient complaints promptly and ensure follow-up.Supervise and maintain employee productivity.Manage department operations, including reporting, full-time equivalents (FTEs), and operating budgets.Conduct monthly staff meetings and in-services for all responsible areas.Assume on-call responsibilities to ensure adequate staffing and problem-solving. Must Haves: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (required).Minimum of three years' experience in Patient Access in an acute care setting.Will consider Clinical Managers or Practice Managers with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
