Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere to create a memorable leasing experience. Greet and engage with prospective residents, establishing rapport and understanding their needs and preferences. Conduct property tours, effectively highlighting the property's amenities, floor plans, and unique selling points. Use a customer-focused attitude year-round to ensure a smooth renewal process for existing residents. Participate in and assist with planning and coordinating resident events and activities to foster a sense of community.
Leasing and Marketing: Utilize persuasive sales techniques to promote the property and convert leads into leases. Collaborate with marketing teams to showcase the property through various channels, including online listings and social media. Assist prospects with the leasing process, including explaining lease terms, application procedures, and move-in details. Process lease applications, conduct background checks, and ensure accurate and timely completion of lease agreements. Accurately input and maintain resident and lease data in property management software, ensuring up-to-date records. Assist with rent collection, tracking delinquencies, and coordinating lease renewals. Stay informed about property features, floor plans, and community amenities to effectively communicate the value of residing in the community.
Market Insight: Stay knowledgeable about local market trends, competitor performance, and resident preferences to tailor leasing approaches. Vendor and Partner Relationships: Collaborate with external vendors, real estate agents, and industry partners to maximize leasing opportunities and optimize property exposure.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Required: Minimum of 2 years in leasing Preferred: Experience with Onesite,College degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
Competencies: Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, with a focus on leasing or real estate (preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with prospects, residents, and team members. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for lease administration and record-keeping. Proficiency in property management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office suite. Positive attitude, self-motivated, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of fair housing regulations, leasing laws, and customer service best practices. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
