Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Licensed Professional Nurse to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description: Assist in conducting tours of the care homesOversee the clinical and psycho/social care needs of residentsCommunicate resident's care needs with the primary care physician and family members/responsible partyConduct staff In-service trainingAssist in developing and implementing appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficienciesConduct timely assessments of prospective residentsAssure safe staff work practices and conduct safety in-service training sessionsSupervise and guide the Lead Nursing Assistants and Nursing Assistants to ensure daily tasks are accomplished timelyOrganize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasksWork with Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ employees Position Requirements: Utilizes computer, desk and cellular telephone, copier/fax to facilitate communication internally and externallyUtilize computer software (Microsoft Office products) extensivelyCreate and maintain a variety of spreadsheets using computer software (Excel)Ability to multi-task in all areas of the positionIntermediate and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software applicationsStrong interpersonal communication skills verbally and in writingDemonstrated use of team approach in the work environmentProgressively demonstrate critical thinking for problem-solvingAbility to follow written and verbal instructions Kahu Malama Nurses does not just connect you with a job; we offer a Professional Mentoring & Education Program to help you be great at your job, love it, and grow.
