Senior Adviser – Business Architecture The Business Architecture Division is recruiting permanently for up to three SEO roles. This campaign is open to current civil servants and external candidates.
Location: National.

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is responsible for everything that goes into running the UK's criminal and civil justice systems.
Background We are recruiting for up to three Senior Advisers for the Business Architecture Division. They will work with Grade 7 leads on portfolios focused on supporting the Department around its core workforce, infrastructure, skills and capability needs in the long term.
What we do The Business Architecture Division is a new team at the heart of the MoJ within COO Group, and will help identify opportunities and formulate a strategy to improve the way services are delivered.
The team has three immediate priorities:
To develop a long-term 2040 organisational strategy alongside a new target operating model for MoJ.To lead and influence critical thinking and decision making about MoJ's capabilities, workforce and organisational structure.To encourage the use of business architecture tools and methodologies.Senior Adviser – Business Architecture – Job Description This is an exciting opportunity to join a new Directorate. You will be responsible for:
Contributing to the development of the MoJ organisational strategy.Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across people, strategy, strategic finance and others.Working across the MoJ, its agencies and arms-length bodies (ALBs).Supporting in the preparation, delivery and implementation of fiscal and political events.In practice, this can include a wide range of activities such as drafting clear advice to ministers or senior officials, running workshops, and preparing papers or slide packs.
Person Specification We are looking for highly motivated people with demonstrable experience operating and delivering in a large scale and complex organisation.

At the moment, the majority of staff are working flexibly between their office base and home, with at least two days per week in their office base expected.
