Job Type: Salary Range: Closing Date: PNGJobSeek's client is seeking an experienced manager for the Abbatoir Manager position.Job Description:The purpose of the position is to provide assistance in the progress and success of Down Stream Processing and ensure that all Beef products meet or exceed the required quality standards for domestic markets.
Responsibilities:Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of the DSP progress and updates, and provide Quality, OHS, sales and production planning reports or updates to HOD Beef.Provide daily and weekly scheduling of livestock to the Ranch Managers and ensure the quality of cattle for processing.Ensures plant & equipment maintenance to minimize downtime in production and operations.Requirements:Must have effective team management and communication skills.Must have a sound understanding of written processes for ordering and reporting.Must have an understanding of the usage of SAP System or similar.
