Job Summary: ETSU Quillen College of Medicine invites board-certified/board-eligible Internists to join an existing team of physicians on our inpatient hospitalist team located at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. Holston Valley Medical Center is a level-3 trauma center with an open ICU. ETSU Health hospitalists observe a traditional 7-on-7-off schedule.
Key responsibilities of an outpatient internal medicine physician include: Diagnosing, treating, and managing hospitalized patientsMentoring and teaching medical students and residents while on their inpatient rotationsConducting lectures, case discussions, and hands-on clinical training for trainees.Contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of internal medicine.ETSU Quillen College of Medicine faculty members benefit from the guidance of experienced academic leaders within our established medical school, alongside a multitude of resources tailored to foster their professional development and growth.
