The Account Development Specialist maximizes sales and marketing of supplier brandsResponsible for effective planning, selling, merchandising and communicationMaintains strong relationships with key stakeholders/gatekeepers of supplier accounts
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Maximize sales and marketing of assigned supplier brands within assigned accounts• Serve as expert and resource in developing beverage and marketing strategies• Research trends, category, and portfolio to meet supplier goals• Present new products and conduct business reviews• Maintain relationships with influencers and present new products and listings• Facilitate account visits and prepare for supplier meetings• Assist sales team in driving supplier brands• Develop and deliver training modules on sales trends• Determine specific needs of individual accounts• Establish merchandising objectives and define POS needs• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations• Obtain appropriate distribution of supplier brands• Maintain and build strong relationships with key stakeholders/gatekeepers• Participate in supplier work-with sales calls• Attend educational workshops and maintain industry knowledge• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations• Maintain a safe and clean working environment• Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience• Minimum of 3 years in sales or industry related experience• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle• Proficient PC skills using MS Office and presentation software• Results-oriented professional with communication and customer service skills• Ability to multi-task, work independently, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines• Analytic and reporting skills• Sound judgement and problem-solving skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
