Join us as an Account Director, where your expertise in digital solutions and strong technical knowledge will be essential in crafting and executing direct marketing strategies for some of the world's most admired brands. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering enablement programs that significantly enhance business outcomes. What will your day look like?

In the role as Account Director, you will be responsible for organizing and managing one of our large international clients. In the day-to-day business, you will be expected to lead the team and manage the client roadmap, so strong people skills and a strategic mindset is a must. Furthermore, you will play a central role throughout the entire project lifecycle, where you will make use of your strategic thinking and management skills as well as tackle more hands-on tasks. A solid technical understanding and a strong passion for digital solutions is essential, as you will work closely with our developers and the client's development/technical stakeholders.
More specifically, your tasks include:
Provide superior customer service and amplify client business opportunities while achieving client and VML KPIs.
Collaborate with the Client Service Director / Client Partner on strategic initiatives and roadmaps to enhance operational efficiency.
Cultivate a strong client partnership, serve as the primary escalation contact, and ensure clients are well-informed about progress and expectations.
Lead the creation of project scopes, budgets, and plans, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery, and synergistic solutions across multiple inquiries.
Oversee project execution with vigilant risk mitigation and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
Stay ahead of industry trends and disseminate insights to the team to foster collective expertise.
Guide both internal and external meetings and participate in financial reporting in partnership with the finance department.
Direct team performance management, delegate tasks effectively, and drive strategic recruitment, training, and resource planning for sustained growth.

What do you bring to the table?

You are an easy-going person with a proactive and positive mindset. You work to deliver the best possible outcome despite any challenges that arise. As you will be managing several projects simultaneously, you are an organized person who can keep perspective while showing great attention to details.
In addition, you have:
5+ years of experience as a CRM account director or similar.
Extensive knowledge of what working with data, technical projects, and marketing automation platforms entails.
Experience with strategic management and implementation of IT projects within CRM, web, and/or marketing automation.
Ideally you also have experience with either Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Marketing Cloud.
Experience with project management and hence the ability to lead and support project managers on your team.
Experience balancing time across multiple team members and the ability to keep calm and composed in times of stressful situations.
The competence, confidence, and self-discipline to manage deadlines, estimates, and budgets excellently.
Great communication and presentation skills in English. It is vital for this role, that you can communicate complex topics in a clear and understandable manner.
Please note that traveling is expected as the client requires face time.
