Job Summary:
The Account Executive is responsible for driving the expansion of our commercial specified opportunities, contributing directly to overall sales growth.
Tasked with cultivating new and robust relationships, they focus on nurturing connections with architecture and design firms, as well as end-user accounts.
Integral to this role is the representation and amplification of the TAS Contract brand within the market landscape.
Through strategic engagement and relationship building, the Account Executive serves as a key ambassador, fostering brand recognition and catalyzing market penetration.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue generation.
Identify opportunities for growth within assigned territories.
* Prospecting and Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and cold-calling architecture and design firms, as well as end-user accounts.
Build a robust pipeline of potential clients.
* Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within architecture and design firms and end-user accounts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct periodic product presentations and business reviews.
* Product Knowledge and Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, features, and benefits.
Educate clients on solution-based product applications, installation techniques, and industry trends to drive sales and promote customer satisfaction.
Update material libraries.
* Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, logistics, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and projects.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
* Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and market positioning.
* Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including prospecting efforts, customer interactions, and sales forecasts within the Sugar CRM.
Prepare regular reports and updates for management, highlighting sales performance and key metrics.
* Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or related field desired.
* 2 or more years of experience in the promotion of construction products, or architectural products, or 5 or more years in an outside sales position with proven success.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel between work and customer locations.
Physical Requirements:
* This position is performed in the office, a warehouse setting, client offices, and outside weather conditions.
* Comfortable climbing step ladder to retrieve samples in the warehouse.
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Travel to customer locations is required (25%).
* Travel to work locations and trade shows is required (10%).
