They are hiring an individual to fill the role of Account Executive – Lighting. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of the construction sector and be well-versed in the distributor and contractor markets within West Texas and Southern New Mexico. Provide technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of our lighting and controls solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities. Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients. Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote our brand and expand our market presence. Skill Set: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in sales, preferably within the lighting and controls industry. Deep understanding of the construction industry. Extensive knowledge of the distributor and contractor markets in West Texas and Southern New Mexico. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
