Account Manager II (Freight Brokerage) Location Rogers, AR : The Account Manager II is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience, serving as the first line of contact for our customers. They are responsible for ensuring all freight is serviced to meet/exceed the customer's standards, while also communicating customer needs and changes to the operations teams. They are expected to develop and maintain customer relationships, while achieving company defined operational metrics. As an Account Manager II, you will be empowered to own customer relationships and operationalize their opportunities and needs on an ongoing basis. We are looking for candidates with a bias for action, an ability to collaborate with a network of stakeholders, and a track record of holding high expectations to deliver optimal results for our customers.
This position will work Onsite at our Rogers Center of Excellence and interviews will be conducted in Rogers as well.
What the Candidate Will Do Customer Success:
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customer contacts, including shippers and receivers, through professional and timely communications and inquiry responses. Notify Shipper and/or Receiver of shipment status and reschedule pick-up/delivery appointments when necessary. Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers); and/or Set-up new vendors Leverage knowledge and understanding of Modes, Rates, Weights, Volumes, Pallets, etc. based on customer's shipping requirements. Support new customer onboarding, as needed, with direction and supervision from an Account Lead or Manager. Do the Right Thing:
Responsible for understanding current market trends, to successfully offer pricing to customers' requests for quotes. Ensures operational compliance for US and Foreign Regulatory Requirements Correspond with customer, and on behalf of customer, to resolve carrier escalations regarding accessorial charges. Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System and up-to-date fuel surcharge by customer requirement standards. Responsible for confirming billing information is accurate and ready for invoicing. Innovate with Purpose:
Ensure thorough SOPs for customer operations. Provide an appropriate level of information to support teams for accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Utilize internal product and processes as opportunities to automate for greater account efficiency and reduce manual interventions for more timely, complex issues Stronger Together:
Works with account management leads on daily responsibilities. Interfaces with support teams on overlapping responsibilities (scheduling, escalations, billing) Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 1 year related experience Preferred Qualifications College degree Transportation/Logistics experience Knowledge of Microsoft Tools and Transportation Management Systems About Uber Freight Uber Freight is a logistics platform and partner with a mission to reimagine the way goods move to help communities thrive.
