Account Manager

The Account Manager will be responsible for selling and promoting Audio Visual (AV) systems and solutions to schools, including K-12 and higher education institutions. This role requires identifying customer needs, managing client relationships, and offering tailored AV solutions that meet the specific needs of educational environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and experience working with schools.
\n ResponsibilitiesSell AV systems and solutions (e.g., projectors, interactive displays, sound systems, video conferencing) to schools and educational institutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, such as school administrators, IT directors, and facility managers.Identify new sales opportunities within the education sector and grow the customer base by targeting new schools or districts.Present and demonstrate AV products to school administrators, explaining how the solutions meet the unique needs of educational environments.Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts tailored to the needs of each educational institution.Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring all customer needs are met and projects are completed on time.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth product installation and provide post-sale support to customers.Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction.Track sales activities and manage accounts using CRM software.Stay informed on the latest trends in educational technology and AV systems.Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for future sales. QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, business, or a related field.2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in AV systems or technology solutions for schools.Familiarity with AV products and solutions, including interactive displays, audio systems, projectors, and video conferencing.Strong understanding of the education sector and its technology needs.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple accounts and sales cycles simultaneously.Self-driven and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to exceed sales targets.Proficient in using CRM tools and sales tracking software.
\n$70,000 - $100,000 a year
Open range, based on how much you want, your experience, and your commission/OTA desires.
