The Account Manager will be responsible for selling Audio Visual (AV) systems and solutions to schools and educational institutions. This role requires building relationships, identifying opportunities, and providing tailored AV solutions that meet the needs of schools. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales, specifically in the education sector, and a solid understanding of AV systems.
\n ResponsibilitiesSell AV systems, including projectors, interactive displays, audio systems, and video conferencing solutions to schools and educational institutions.Build and maintain relationships with school administrators, IT directors, and decision-makers to understand their AV needs and provide customized solutions.Identify new business opportunities by prospecting and networking within the education sector.Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of AV solutions for educational environments.Provide accurate sales quotes, proposals, and contracts to clients.Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client requirements and are implemented smoothly.Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals and achieve sales targets.Track sales activities, maintain client records, and report progress using CRM systems.Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and educational technology advancements.Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business. QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or a related field.2+ years of experience in sales, specifically selling AV systems or technology solutions to schools or educational institutions.Strong knowledge of AV systems, educational technology, and the unique needs of schools.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and sales processes.Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.Proficiency in using CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer data.
