Bio-Rad's Life Science Group is looking for an Account Manager. In this role, you will demonstrate, sell and support customers on Bio-Rad's diverse line of consumables, apparatus, and small equipment. You will support and service life science research laboratories at non-profit academic and government accounts in San Diego up to Irvine. Team and individual selling scenarios. Product lines are focused primarily on Western Blotting, PCR and qPCR workflows. This position would require minimal overnight travel, but there are biyearly sales meeting that require travel.
How You Will Make an Impact: Develop and execute a territory sales plan. Promote & sell the Western Blotting & qPCR workflow portfolios to achieve territory sales goals. Build, manage and grow sales opportunity funnel. Partner with regional sales teammates to ensure achievement of territory sales goals. Communicate with regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities & forecast. What You Bring: Education: BA/BS/MS/PhD. Work Experience: 3-5 Years of sales experience within life science sector. Alternatively, lab experience with knowledge of qPCR and Western Blotting is suitable. Excellent communication & presentation skills. Highly motivated with a demonstrated record of success. Developed analytical skills. Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office. Compensation:The estimated base salary range for this position is $82,000 to $112,800 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
