The Account Manager will be responsible for selling Audio Visual (AV) systems and solutions to schools and educational institutions. The role involves managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of AV products and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, particularly within the education sector, and a strong understanding of AV systems.
\n ResponsibilitiesSell and promote AV systems, including projectors, interactive displays, sound systems, and video conferencing equipment to schools and educational institutions.Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and building relationships with school administrators, IT directors, and decision-makers.Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring all customer needs are met and exceeded.Provide product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the benefits and features of AV solutions for educational environments.Collaborate with the technical team to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and are implemented successfully.Prepare and present accurate sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.Negotiate pricing and terms of agreements to close sales and maximize revenue.Maintain a deep understanding of the AV industry, educational technology trends, and competitive offerings to effectively position products.Provide excellent customer service by maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients and ensuring their satisfaction.Track and report on sales activities, progress, and goals using CRM tools and reporting systems.Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to stay informed and build relationships. QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or related field.Proven experience in sales, preferably selling AV systems or technology solutions to schools or educational institutions.Strong knowledge of AV systems, educational technology, and the unique needs of schools.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical products to non-technical clients.Strong negotiation and closing skills.Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.Strong customer service skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
