We're growing, and we want you to be a part of it. We are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team. Summary: Under the supervision of the Retail Operations Manager, the Account Manager's responsibility is to manage an assigned book of business, cross-sell customers, and assist with retaining business. Key Responsibilities: Manage assigned accounts with day-to-day activities, including but not limited to, correspondence with clients, agents, brokers, and carriers via email or phone, update management system, correspond with relevant internal departments, as needed, etc.Manage renewals on existing accounts, process applications, submission to carriers or brokers, quote, review coverage and proposal with clientTake phone calls and emails from clients and assist with any questions or concerns regarding their policiesLook for and pursue opportunities to upsell and/or cross sell additional coverageProcess, collect information and follow-up on auditsProcess applications, submissions to carriers, quotes, endorsements, binders and policiesAttend renewal meetings with the teamHandle correspondence with insureds, carriers and brokersProcess submission to carrier or brokerProcess endorsement requests from start to finishProcess renewal & new business quotes with accuracy and send to clientsDistribute binders and invoices to clientsAssist clients with audit disputesSupport carriers with Loss Control visitsAssist clients with loss control recommendationsIssue COI's as required Follow up on outstanding account balances and coordinate with accounting department to ensure account balances are updated and currentSupport Assistant/Jr. Account Mangers, and others, as necessaryWork independently, take initiative, and work with little supervisionMaintain regular and timely attendanceAdhere to all current department process and procedure best practicesRequired to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: Active Property & Casualty License Bachelor's degree preferred 7-10 years' Independent Insurance Agency Account Manager Experience Broad understanding of Commercial Insurance Policies Familiar with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint Familiar with agency management systems and tools (ie: AMS 360 (preferred), Applied Epic, Hawksoft) and phone systems Relationship management skills and openness to feedback Take initiative with personal and professional development and growth Must be organized and detail-oriented Must be able to effectively communicate and connect with underwriters, agents, coworkers, brokers, and clients.
