Responsibilities
• Review and process invoices for capital/fixed assets• Prepare cash, property tax, payables, and payroll journals• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate variances• Support the District's Cash and Investment operation• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and analyses• Identify and correct transaction errors• Allocate revenues and expenses within the general ledger• Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports• Prepare audit schedules for external and internal audits
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Accounting, Auditing, or Financial Reporting• Experience in bank, G/L account, and fixed asset reconciliations preferred• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions• Valid CPA license highly preferred
