Accountant

Job Opportunity: Accountant for Accounting/Tax Position Danville, IL CPA firm is seeking an accountant for an accounting/tax position. This position requires a team player who is detail-oriented and has knowledge, or is willing to learn, the multiple tasks required in public accounting. We are looking for a long-term professional who desires a career path for advancement. Salary will commensurate with experience.

Monday - Friday

Shift:
1st Shift

Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial statements. Assist with tax preparation and planning. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Provide support during audits. Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Experience in public accounting preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
