About the Position:
The Accountant position will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
The position will work closely together with all the team members to continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of Dometic's financial reporting while following the corporate guidelines and regulations.
General responsibilities: Maintain the general ledger.
Preparation of monthly journal entries.
Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
Perform mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and report, identify, and correct errors.
Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
File sales tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
Prepare and file 1099's.
Review and handle expense and credit card reporting Handle international AP processing.
Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
3 years' experience in accounting/finance required.
