Accountant

Job Description:

Duke Energy in San Francisco, California is seeking a passionate and reliable Accountant to join our team at the Associate level. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations- Assist with budgeting and forecasting- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities- Assist with audits and financial reviews- Provide support for financial projects and initiatives

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- 2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Decision-making skills and attention to detail
