Position Overview:
As an Accountant at Cull Group Marketing & Design, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks that contribute to the overall success of our company. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and decision-making processes. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus, especially for senior-level candidates. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative spirit and a positive attitude. Energetic and resourceful personality, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges and finding solutions.
