Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for finance and technology, with 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the financial services or trading sector.
This role is integral to our operations, and the Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial operations, maintaining financial records, managing ledgers, and contributing to the firm's financial efficiency and compliance.


Job Description Manage daily accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support electronic trading activities, including settlement, clearing, and reconciliations.
Conduct detailed analysis of financial transactions and prepare reports that summarize current financial status.
Prepare and adjust journal entries and perform monthly and quarterly closing activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
Develop and implement policies and procedures, working closely with developers and other functional teams, to further automate and enhance the robustness of the firm's financial operations.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in electronic trading platforms.
Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (or in the process of obtaining the license) preferred 2-3 years of accounting experience, with exposure to electronic trading or financial services.
Prior experience at public accounting firms preferred Strong understanding of accounting software and advanced proficiency in Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 (salary range is exclusive of bonuses, benefits or other categories of compensation)
