Senior Manager
to join our growing
Accounting and Business Advisory
team in Atlanta!
The ideal candidate will have
5 to 8 years
of well-rounded accounting and/or finance experience in the Construction, Real Estate, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a supervisory role. Our corporate accounting team works closely with our clients to provide flexible and scalable accounting support and finance and business consulting to launch businesses to the next phase of growth.
Accounting and Business Advisory Senior Managers are responsible for (but not limited to):
Managing projects including weekly, monthly, and year-end close processes, management reporting and preparing reconciliations;
Maintaining fixed assets and depreciation schedules;
Designing, implementing, and/or converting systems for clients;
Calculating and reporting indirect taxes;
Helping clients prepare cash flow and/or financial projections;
Reviewing client's payroll and benefits processing and 1099 preparation;
Advising clients on both tactical and strategic financial decisions;
Troubleshooting client issues as they arise.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA license a plus;
Minimum 5 years' progressive accounting/finance and 4 years' supervisory experience required;
Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop or Online and Excel. Experience using the following software is also a plus: Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Sage 50 (Peachtree), Sage 100 (Master Builder), Sage 300 (Timberline), Sys pro, SAP Business One, fixed asset software, ProSystems Fx Engagement;
Some accounting experience within real estate, manufacturing, distribution, or construction a must;
Ability to travel to client locations as needed;
Experience with payroll functions and related tax compliance is a plus;
Experience preparing Sales & Use Tax returns is a plus;
Prior experience serving clients in a professional services environment is a plus;
Consultative approach and client service oriented;
Exceptional, detailed and proactive communicator (verbal & written);
Self-Directed, Autonomous, Ambitious.
