Accounting Assistant 3, Irving, TX (Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week) ($18-20/hr)
Immediate need for an Accounting Assistant 3 for a multibillion dollar Fortune 500 company. Responsibilities include processing PO-related invoices and supporting month-end requirements in compliance with GAAP, company policies, disclosure statements, and government regulation. This is a one year contract.
Responsibilities:Invoice Processing: Handle PO-related invoices within SAP and Vendor Invoice Management System.Communication: Professionally explain accounting policies and procedures.Multitasking: Independently manage multiple tasks to meet service delivery agreements.Collaboration & Learning: Work collaboratively and continuously develop skills.Month-End Support: Assist with month-end closing activities.Problem-Solving: Use analytical skills to resolve invoice posting issues. Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related experience.Accounts payable customer service experience.Intermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.Excellent customer service skills.Strong attention to detail, accounting orientation, and time management abilities.
