Overview of the Inventory Control Clerk Role: As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient inventory processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies between physical and system inventory. Coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions. Generating and analyzing inventory reports to support decision-making and optimize inventory levels. Complete paperwork and verify quantities returned, analyze returned products to determine if product should be disposed of Required Qualifications for the Inventory Control Clerk: High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Business or a related field is a plus. Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word). Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role, ideally within a distribution or manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
