Visibility and exposure to management OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE: The Accounting Clerk will compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions. The Accounting Clerk will verify and post details of business transactions, such as AR and AP Work with order entries. Bank reconciliations Assist with month-end close Handle special projects as assigned by management and senior accounting staff. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE: General Accounting, AP or AR experience Attention to detail Solid experience with Excel
