Responsibilities
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts• Accounts Receivable - Unprocessed cash and Unprocessed checks reconciled to the general ledger• Preparing and reviewing entries for daily, weekly, and monthly activity• Reviewing consultant account balances and initiating appropriate action• Resolving emails from Customer Service Department• Removing credit codes for balance paid in full or applying codes as needed• Processing stop payments and reissuing commission checks• Reviewing and resolving credit hold related to new consultant applications• Reconciling monthly sales journals to general ledger• Generating weekly shipment journals and storing files electronically• Preparing credit analysis on 8- & 12-week letters
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree in Accounting preferred• Working knowledge of debits, credits, journals, and ledgers• Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook required• Prior experience with JD Edwards Prowess preferred
