M1 is looking for an Accounting Manager, Financial Information Systems (FIS) - Manages company
accounting processes and associated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (financial
information systems) Company-wide IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Federal
Acquisition Regulations (FAR), company policies and industry standards.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Serves as a key resource to identify and select appropriate ERP systems based on business
requirements.
* Serves as the M1 lead pertaining to ERP System implementation
* Provides ERP system Subject Matter Expert support for system functionality, requirements,
capabilities, configuration, data and reporting.
Works internally and with ERP vendor to identify/
troubleshoot system issues and determine appropriate course of action required to remedy issues
pertaining to the ERP system.
Coordinates internally and with ERP vendor to define, execute, and
fully implement Scope of Work requirements to resolve known issues or enhance functionality of the
ERP System.
* Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives to improve the operation of the ERP Systems,
decrease cycle time, improve system performance, and streamline workflow processes.
* Researches and resolves ERP system performance and data issues.
Submits problem tickets and
general requests to the ERP vendor.
Coordinates with ERP vendor for MI Subject Matter Expert/
Point of Contact (SME/POC).
* Coordinates version and release upgrades with ERP vendor and M1 Finance and Accounting (F&A).
* Refreshes the ERP system "TEST" instance for M1
* Communicates to M1 user community regarding system maintenance, functionality and status
* Maintains ERP system information security for M1 including user provisioning, maintenance and
deactivation
* Maintains company tree for timecard approval structure.
Provides education, guidance, and support
related to ERP system.
Maintains accounting structures (ex OBS, WBS, etc) and rate files including
Rate Adjustments.
* Runs Actual Burder Rate Process.
Assists with setting up billing and revenue structures for multiple
locations.
Retro Adjust Target Rates and Retro Adjust Revenue Rates.
Runs cost report and posts to
the ERP System Dashboards.
* Assists program finance and Finance, Payroll and Accounting on project set up efforts of new and
existing projects.
* Develops and sustains a culture of safety, quality compliance, and professionalism.
* Ensures compliance with directives, work standards, and company policies relating to
financial/business operations.
* Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime
* Applies company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and
termination of employees.
* Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Five years of relevant accounting and financial systems administration experience including
automated accounting systems is desired.
* Bachelor's degree in related field required.
Master's degree desired.
Experience may be considered
in lieu of education.
* Experience with JAMIS and/or DELTEK ERP systems.
* Working knowledge of Department of Defense and business operations and policies
* Must possess strong communication skills.
* Must be proficient in MS Office
* Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
* Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while
maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
Working Conditions:
* Primary work area is an office environment.
* Extended periods of sitting and use of a computer while performing tasks.
*
Travel to Company work sites, and U.S. military bases, required, when necessary.
* While at Company work sites, must be able to move inside aircraft hangars and outside on
aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
