SUMMARY
Performs a wide variety of general accounting functions, including maintaining the fixed asset process, managing the documentation of our investment portfolio, initiating orders, monitoring the item master, performing analysis on budget to actuals and revenue, maintaining records, creating documentation, and assisting on various projects as they occur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain and enhance the fixed asset process to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage documentation related to the investment portfolio within the ledger system Works with staff show-wide to initiate orders and provide status updates on orders/payments Monitors the item master of the organization Prepares periodic and annual budget reports and performs analysis Performs revenue analysis to ensure appropriate revenue recognition Assists with close, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts.
Manage project timelines and complete work within a reasonable time Be actively involved with internal documentation Assist with special projects as needed FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
This role is poised to evolve into a leadership role ensuring consistency and efficiency in accounting practices company wide.
EDUCATION
• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, CPA License required
EXPERIENCE
• Public accounting experience a plus
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
• Knowledge in Oracle and/or Netsuite a plus

Strong written and oral communication skills required.
