Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our Wild Fork team! This is an in-office role, Monday – Friday, in Miami, FL. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRSCollaborate with department heads to align accounting practices with corporate goals and objectives.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting operationsEstablish and maintain robust internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and safeguard company assets.Review journal entriesSign off on bank account reconciliations Review of sales and intercompany reconciliations Investigate unusual transactions and balances in the GL and subledger reports Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Coordinate training programs to keep the team updated on accounting regulations and best practices.Utilize technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysisEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.Assist with external audits and respond to audit findings promptly Monitor compliance with company policy and proceduresPeriodically evaluate performance of all employees in compliance with company policy (at least annually) Other duties as assigned Qualifications:   Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification or MBA preferred7-10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a management roleStrong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and experience with financial statement preparation and consolidation.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; SAP preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail – demonstrated ability to review detailed financial statements with a high level of accuracyAbility to juggle competing projects and achieve accurate results, excellent time management skills, and flexibility to meet changing priorities Key Competencies: Financial AcumenStrategic ThinkingLeadership and Team DevelopmentOperational EfficiencyCompliance and Risk ManagementTechnology ProficiencyEOE/Vets/Disability
