Responsibilities: The Accounting Manager will manage the controller's checklist to ensure all entries are posted to the general ledger for the closing period. Run and prepare profit recognition for Work in Process schedules for 3 Companies. Preparation of mid-year re-forecast and annual budget.
The Accounting Manager will maintain all insurance schedules (GL, WC, Auto, etc.).
Included, but not limited to the preparation of monthly entries, participation in audits, and the development methods of forecasting for the policy period. Preparation of binders for Executive Management that include internal P&Ls, cash flows, aged receivables, and WIP Reports for all trade lines.
The Accounting Manager will prepare monthly and quarterly performance financial schedules for review. Preparation of weekly financial reporting schedules to the parent company. Preparation of monthly Accounting Schedules which include Statement of Cash flow, WIP reconciliation, PP&E, Debt, and Business Insurance.
The Accounting Manager will prepare monthly internal financials for the Building, JOC, Mechanical, and Close Out Group. Preparation of monthly consolidation and elimination entries. The Accounting Manager will coordinate internal and external audits. Respond timely to information requests from the parent company, CFO, Executive Management, and Legal. Ad hoc reporting as needed. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Familiarity with Project Controls/Project management processes. Construction Accounting Experience, AIA Billing, Certified Payroll, Job Costing, Financial Modeling, Forecasting & Budgeting preferred. JD Edwards knowledge preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Location: The position is full-time onsite in Mount Vernon, NY.Compensation: Offering up to $140,000 depending on experience.
