Job Title: Accounting ManagerJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to train, discipline, and supervise staff.
The Accounting Manager will evaluate performance and ensure appraisals are completed as required.
This role provides assistance and guidance in day-to-day activities and is responsible for the preparation of monthly internal financial statements, assigned work papers, and journal entries.
The Accounting Manager will review daily cash reports and monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts, ensuring the accuracy of all journal entries made to the general ledger.
Additionally, the role involves preparing account analysis, calculating reserves for doubtful accounts, maintaining trial balances and general ledgers, and researching budget variances.
The Accounting Manager will interact with outside auditors, accountants, and consultants, providing necessary information and explanations.
The role also includes responsibilities for foreign cost spreadsheets, standard cost updates, researching gross margin discrepancies, and assisting in bonus calculations.
Approval of outgoing wires, ACH backup, payroll processing backup, and daily cash reporting are also part of the role.
Additional related duties and projects may be assigned as needed.
