Industrial Networking Solutions (INS) is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead and mentor our accounting team.
this role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and a passion for developing talent.
Location
INS HQ - Richardson, TX office - Must live in Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area or be willing to relocate.
There is no relocation package for this position.
Following initial training period, this role will be eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days remote, 3 days in office.
Compensation - $70,000 - $85,000 per year plus bonus
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field CPA designation (preferred) 5+ years experience in accounting or a similar role, with increasing responsibility Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Proficiency in NetSuite and MS Office Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties & Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team including offshore resources, providing guidance on best practices and career development. Provide training to team members on accounting software, systems, and processes. Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team. Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate professional development opportunities. Financial Oversight: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accounting standards. Assist, as needed, with accounting integration of acquisitions Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and provide financial insights. Act as a liaison between the accounting department and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends. Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
