Accounting Manager – Manhattan, New York, NYWe are assisting a global, diamond and jewelry wholesale company in their search for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Double- Entry accounting, and financial reports and reconciliations.
Hybrid position– 3 times/week in the office
Responsibilities include: Utilizing ERP and accounting software to prepare financial statements, with a strong focus on inventory accountingManaging general ledgers, AP, AR, tax payments and reportingEnsuring that monthly, quarterly and year end close happens accurately and on timeSales tax reporting and paymentsPreparing budgets and managing the company's cash flowPayroll and HR compliance (Paychex), entries and reconciliationsProviding support for annual external financial auditsMaintaining communication with external CPAParticipating in regulatory compliance best practicesDesired Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting of Finance (Required)Minimum 5 years of experience as Accounting Manager or Junior ControllerExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailLANGUAGES: HEBREW writing and speaking skills are a big advantageThis position offers a competitive salary and a great opportunity for professional growth.
