Renaissance Patriot Place, a Colwen Hotels Property, is in search of a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for relevant administrative duties such as responding to billing questions, accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. General Responsibilities: Ensure excellent guest experience by troubleshooting and resolving all billing related issues in assigned hotel.Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities as required.Manage employee timekeeping, process edits, approve timecards for payroll.Coordinate and manage asset inventories.Maintain record retention in compliance with record retention requirement of relevant government agencies.Responsible for Accounts Receivable functions including collection calls as needed.Verify credit cards and cash deposits are processed every night by Night Auditor as needed.Review postings, payments, revenue, and guest balance reports daily.Train and support all department associates and ensure they perform in accordance with established Colwen Hotels and brand standards.Ensure compliance with Federal & State Labor laws.Perform technical and administrative duties including, but not limited to writing and reviewing reports, e.g. profit and loss, yield management, capital planning, payroll, etc.Balance cost controls with exceptional customer service and associate satisfaction and monitor department checkbook.Support Food & Beverage department with tips management for payroll entry.Partner with Hotel Leadership to assist with recruitment efforts for assigned hotels.Assist with onboarding new associates into payroll, as well as ensure required training is on time and complete.Demonstrate knowledge of all Front Desk operations to support as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements: At least 2 years of previous accounting experience, hotel preferred.Proficient working knowledge of MS Office programs.Strong leadership skills.Team player with great interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate at different levels within the organization.Possess the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.We've got you covered: Benefits & Perks Medical Insurance with Company-Funded HRA.Vision Insurance.Flexible Spending Accounts.Wide-Array of Supplemental Insurance Offerings.Paid Time Off Programs.Employee Assistance Program.401K Plan – Traditional & Roth Options with Employer Match.Hotel Discount Travel Program for Associates & Family.Exclusive Associate Discounts – Travel, Entertainment, & Retail.Training and Development Programs.Colwen Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
