Accounting Manager, SEC Reporting
Location: NYC Qualifications:
-5 years' experience in Public Accounting
-Strong experience in SEC reporting using US GAAP
-Active CPA
-Securities industry experience preferred
-IFRS reporting experience is a preferred Responsibilities:
-Assist with drafting, implementing and maintaining financial reporting and accounting policies
-Assist with researching accounting literature and preparing technical accounting memos, as needed
-Monitor evolving reporting and disclosure trends and developments
-Benchmarking analysis to ensure transparent and high-quality reporting
-Assist with various month-end close responsibilities related to share-based compensation and separate company reporting for other affiliates
-Preparation and review of journal entries, etc.
-Coordinate with and support external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit
-Draft and review quarterly and annual financial statements (i.e., 10-Q and 10-K) and Form 17-H
-Review work of accounting analyst, including financial statement footnote disclosure tie-outs
-Maintain effective design and operating effectiveness of disclosure controls and support internal control assessments
-Help lead the assessment and implementation of any new FASB or SEC disclosure requirements, including climate-related disclosures
