Description & Requirements
Infor is looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for reviewing transactional data to accurately calculate, report, and pay all obligations and create the associated journal entries.
Those entries are posted, reported and paid to 3rd party partners each month.The accountant will manage internal and external partner relationships with those who receive or are depending on those royalty and commission entries.
Position is ideal for an accountant with an operational mindset, critical thinking and analytical skills to execute accounting processes.
A Day In the Life Typically Includes:
Handling ad hoc projects.Perform as required G/L account reconciliations.Research and respond to internal & external partner accounts inquiries, disputes or variances.Read and interpret terms that guide reporting and payment requirements for partners.Conduct work in compliance with department accounting policies and procedures.Providing and initiating partner statements.Booking monthly journal entries.Evaluate transactional data to create accrual, expense and payment entries related to 3rd party royalty and sales commission fees.
Basic Qualifications:
Intermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, data validation and formula creation).Knowledge of accounting processes, including the application of contract terms and conditions to properly identify, report and account for expenses.Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
