We are seeking a diligent Accounting Specialist to join our team. The key functions of this role include data entry, researching data inquiries, and resolving data issues. This position is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create service work orders, purchase orders, and customer invoices.
- Enter accounts payable invoices and inventory transactions.
- Assist with account reconciliations.
- Gather data for billing purposes.
- Perform filing, shredding, organizing, and documenting tasks.
- Conduct statistical analyses and prepare reports.
- Execute other office duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Accounting experience (required)
- Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on process accuracy.
- Proficient in accurate data entry.
- Basic computer skills required, particularly in Word and Excel.
- Interest in learning and adapting to accounting software functions and processes (EBMS - Koble Systems, knowledge is preferred but not required).
- A team player committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Reporting Relationships:
- This position reports to the CFO.
