Accounting Supervisor (Hybrid Remote)

This position allows for 2 days per week remote / work from home. Salary: $70,000 - 85,000/year with weekly bonuses. Total Compensation is $120,000 - 140,000/year We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will hold a CPA certification and possess strong leadership skills, along with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices in a manufacturing setting. The Accounting Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support the overall financial strategy of the company.
\n ResponsibilitiesSupervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial analysis.Monitor and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze costs, variances, and operational efficiencies.Prepare and present financial data and reports to senior management and stakeholders.Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company adheres to best practices.Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.Support the financial planning and analysis processes, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required.Minimum of 3 of experience in accounting, with at least 1 in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with [specific software used by the company] is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
