Accounts Payable Accountant

Cordia Resources is partnered with a top corporate firm who is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced  Accounts Payable Accountant . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the accounts payable process and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This position requires a candidate with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Review and process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently. Verify the accuracy of invoices, including matching them with purchase orders and receipts. Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Maintain positive relationships with vendors through effective communication. Process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies. Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and ensure compliance with expense policies. Assist in month-end close activities related to accounts payable. Prepare and analyze accounts payable aging reports. Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation. Assist in the development and implementation of efficient AP processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations related to accounts payable. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in accounts payable and general accounting functions. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Knowledge of month-end close processes is a plus. IND123
