Overview: Waterway has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist on our Accounting team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the A/P process, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and will also help prepare journal entries, audit store activity, and contribute to our monthly closing process. This is a full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week, and will be based at our Corporate Office in Chesterfield, MO and will report to the Controller. Responsibilities: Acquire appropriate approvals from relevant parties for all payment requests.Process payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.Provide timely updates as needed to vendors and internal parties.Prepare journal entries to appropriately allocate payments. Audit store activity and provide reporting and updates to department managers and operational leaders.Other responsibilities as assigned.
