Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsible for all accounts payable related functions including coding, input and posting of approved invoices to computerized Accounts Payable voucher register and file maintenance.
Code, verify, scan and enter accounts payable data in the computer Process check runs and manual checks  Ensure all invoices and disbursements are reviewed and approved in accordance with VCC policies Interface with vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues Minimum  High school graduate or equivalent Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Knowledge of accounting, payroll, and Microsoft Office Suite; strong computer skills Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and spreadsheets Ability to perform a high volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy; to make difficult mathematical computations with and without mechanical assistance Salary Range $23.50 - $25.50 per hour
